Hello World! I'm an Applied Scientist at Amazon in Seattle, specializing in Generative AI. I earned my PhD in Computer Science from Stony Brook University in 2024, where I conducted research in the Computer Vision (CV) Lab under the guidance of Prof. Dimitris Samaras and Prof. Gregory Zelinsky.
Research Interest: My research interests lie in the areas of computer vision and machine learning. In the recent past, my focus has been on studying and predicting human visual attention. Specifically, I have developed deep learning models that can predict human visual attention in natural images, webpages, graphic designs, whole slide images of cancer tissues, etc. I have also worked in the domains of generative AI and self-supervised segmentation.
Prior to joining Stony Brook University, I completed my Masters degree from UC Santa Barbara, USA and IIT Kharagpur, India in the domain of signal processing. I completed my undergraduate degree from NIT Durgapur, India in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
